The ebike is a transport alternative that allows you to travel up to 100 km for only 10 pennies. Considering how much a full tank in a car would cost, it is a colossal saving. Ebikes are bought mainly with a view to cheaper access to and from work. E-bike as a city bike works perfectly. This is evidenced by the fact that this type of monocrossing is becoming more and more common on city bicycle trails. Ebike means saving fuel, car depreciation, operation, time in traffic jams and active investment in health.
An ebike will come to recharge from time to time. This is much less expensive than driving to the station and adding petrol to the tank. Charging the battery will vary from one model to another, but there is a common denominator.
When you buy an ebike, the battery is already connected and the slot for the charger is visible and easily accessible. The slot itself can be placed in different places but is usually on the frame or behind the saddle. Charging the ebike may be a bit like charging a gaming pad. Using a dedicated charger you connect the bike to a socket. Beforehand, remove it from the housing, turn it off and only then start charging.
Depending on the type and size of the battery, charging time may be longer. Usually it is 2 to 6 hours, but this is not a rigid limit.
When you receive a new battery together with your ebike or when you buy a new model, you should follow these steps to ensure that it functions properly and lasts:
Batteries in ebikes are equipped with a number of security features that ensure a longer life and safety in use. The thermal protection makes that if the cells reach too high or low temperature, the system will disconnect the voltage from the output and automatically restore it to normal.
To ensure efficient battery operation, it is worthwhile to fully discharge and recharge every few weeks. Please note that leaving the battery fully charged at rest can lead to faster operation of the cells.
If the battery is not used within a month, it is a good idea to charge it up to 50-60% early and store it in a dry and cool room. The optimum temperature is 20 degrees Celsius.
Following the above steps will allow you to quickly and efficiently recharge the battery on your electric bicycle and go out on the road with the right energy facilities.
