Today, the newest product of the Green Cell brand has its premiere! We have already written about GC PowerBoost in this article. We can finally reveal its exact specification and price. Let’s check those out!
GC PowerBoost is a car jump starter with a rectifier and powerbank function. It is equipped with cells with a total capacity of 16,000 mAh, which provide 2,000 A of peak current. The latest device from the Green Cell brand will start an average car up to 30 times. It can easily handle an 8-liter gasoline engine and a 6-liter diesel engine. The cells inside the GC PowerBoost can be fully charged in 80 minutes, but only 10 minutes is enough for the device to be able to start the engine of an immobilised car.
One device – many functions
Green Cell is famous for providing functional and universal solutions. No wonder then that the brand’s latest product combines the functions of various devices. GC PowerBoost is not only a rectifier and a starting device. It can also be used as powerbank, which will power your laptop, phone, or tablet. It has two USB-A 18 W ports and a USB-C 60 W Power Delivery port.
GC PowerBoost can also be used as a 3.2 A charger for 12 V batteries. For this purpose, it can use both the electricity from the socket and the energy stored in its own cells.
What’s more, the device has a built-in flashlight with SOS mode and three brightness levels. It is a useful solution when parking at night and an additional source of lighting in the event of a crash or overnight repairs.
Safety of use
The latest device from Green Cell is very easy and user-friendly. Thanks to the OLED display, you can easily check the most important parameters: state of charge, device operation mode or battery voltage. GC PowerBoost has been adequately protected against overcharging, overheating, short-circuit and reverse connection of the clamps. In turn, the resistant casing protects against splashes, dust and damage caused by falling onto a hard surface.
GC PowerBoost – where to buy?
You can purchase GC PowerBoost in the Battery Empire store. The retail price is £159,95. The set includes clamps, a USB-C cable, and a cover.
This device is especially useful now when the temperature is dropping, and cars are more likely to fail. The winter is just kicking off and the coldest months are still ahead of us!
